“Get
Caught Reading” Photo Contest
What
is the contest?
Catch
someone reading and take a photo. Remember, we read different things in
all kinds of places. Use your imagination!
Who
can enter? The
contest has four categories: Adult, Young Adult (grades 6 – 12), Youth
grades K – 2nd and Youth grades 3rd – 5th.
How
can I enter?
1.)
Take a
great photo.
2.)
Submit
photo, entry form and one waiver for EACH
subject in the photograph.
3.)
One
entry per person.
4.)
Photos
must be 3x5 or 4x6.
5.)
Photos
cannot be digitally altered.
6.)
Library
reserves the right to disqualify any photo deemed inappropriate.
7.)
Submit
photo by 5:00pm, April 25th, 2008 to the Crystal Lake Public
Library.
When
will the winners be announced?
Our
panel of judges will select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd
prize winner in each of the four categories. Winners will be announced
May 5th, 2008, 7:00 pm at the “Get Caught Reading” awards
program at the library.
What
happens to the photographs? Selected
photos will be displayed in the library throughout the contest. The
winning photos will be awarded prizes and placed in the main lobby
display windows from May 1st,2008 – May 31st,2008.
All photos become property of Crystal Lake Public Library.
