Win Cash Prizes
Read, Write and Win
Kids, win cash prizes – enter the 9th annual Read, Write and Win writing competition. Children in grades 3-5 can choose to read and write a new ending to either Wonder by R.J. Palacio or Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu or read and create a new illustrated essay ending to Summer Camp Science Mysteries #1: In Search of the Fog Zombie by Lynda Beauregard. Teens in grades 6-8 can choose to read and write a new ending to either The Apothecary by Maile Meloy or Liar & Spy by Rebecca Stead or read and create a new illustrated essay ending to Pandemonium by Chris Wooding. Copies of the books are available to check out at the Library. Cash prizes of $100 (first place), $75 (second place), $50 (third place) and $25 (fourth place) will be awarded for each book.
