How can I find an article in a magazine or newspaper?
- Click
on the toolbar. - Click the
button. - Enter your Crystal Lake Public Library card number, when prompted.
- In the “Select category” area of the page, click
. - Enter your keyword(s) into the search box and click
.
- Need to improve or narrow down your search results? Try one or more of these tips:
- Use the cues in the search box to combine search terms and locate a specific article. For example, search for words in the title, specify the author, and/or limit the year of the article.
- Check the small box next to “Full-text articles only” so that only complete, full-text articles show up in your search results.
- Search an individual database by clicking the blue underlined title of the database. For magazine and newspaper articles, select Consumer Reports Online, MasterFILE Premier, Wilson Select Plus, SIRS, and/or the Chicago Tribune.
