Request for Proposals

The Crystal Lake Public Library is accepting proposals for maintaining its heating, cooling and ventilation system.  The Library facility is comprised of three joined buildings constructed in 1965, 1984 and 1995.  Each building has its own independent HVAC system that must be coordinated with the other units to maintain a comfortable environment throughout the facility for Library patrons and staff.  A centralized computer controls the newest system.  Older parts of the system rely on pneumatic controls.

Companies interested in submitting proposals must attend a mandatory walkthrough on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10am.  Proposals must include: information on recommended services to keep the HVAC system running at 100%, annual costs for providing recommended services, and contract terms.
